NORTH TEXAS IRISH FESTIVAL FUN RUN Run, cheer, and beer... Come join us for a run around the grounds of the historic Fair Park in Dallas, TX and enjoy the traditions of the North Texas Irish Festival after the run with a free ticket in! All registered runners will receive a t-shirt, a “bottle opener” medal, a ticket to the North Texas Irish Festival, and two beer coupons for after the run if you are of legal drinking age at the after party in the Magnolia Lounge. |
SPIRIT OF THE CENTENNIAL AWARD The Spirit of the Centennial Award is presented annually by the Friends of Fair Park to individuals or organizations who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to Fair Park. The award draws its name from the beloved statue in Fair Park, designed by Raoul Josset in 1936 to celebrate the Texas Centennial. The most recent recipient was Mayor Mike Rawlings for his continued support of Fair Park. |

Fair Park Olympic Day Games for Kids is an opportunity for local children to learn skills, meet Olympians & Paralympians, visit museums, play, compete with teammates and have fun. The event is open to 1st thru 6th graders from the neighborhoods around Fair Park – e.g. Jubilee Park, MLK, Mill City, and Dolphin Heights. This event is sponsored by Friends of Fair Park, endorsed by the US Olympians & Paralympians Association – DFW Chapter, and conducted by Kidventure. |
